What to include for a fast answer
- Span and configuration — for Bailey work, the panel arrangement if it is already decided
- Load class — highway class, HS20-44 / HS25, HA, or the local authority standard
- Quantities — by item where possible, or by bridge length and deck width
- Coating — primer, paint system or hot-dip galvanising, and the target thickness
- Destination — port, and whether you need FOB, CIF or DAP
- Date — when the steel has to be on site, not when the order is placed
Commercial terms
- Quotation currency: USD or EUR
- Incoterms: FOB Xiamen, CIF, or DAP to site
- Payment: 30% deposit with order, balance against copy of B/L; L/C at sight considered for larger packages
- Minimum: one 20 ft container for standard items; mixed packages can fill a 40 ft
